Molly Beer’s award-winning, place-obsessed creative nonfiction appears in Salon, Guernica, Vela, Fourth GenreTerrain, and elsewhere, with selections listed as Notable by Best American Travel Writing (2006 & 2014) and included in Best Women’s Travel Writing (vols. 8 & 9). She is also the coauthor, with David King Dunaway, of the oral history Singing Out (Oxford University Press, 2010).

Molly has taught writing at the University of New Mexico, Colgate University, Scripps College, and, currently, the University of Michigan.
