Molly Beer’s award-winning, place-obsessed creative nonfiction appears in Salon, Guernica, Vela, Fourth Genre, Terrain, and elsewhere, with selections listed as Notable by Best American Travel Writing (2006 & 2014) and included in Best Women’s Travel Writing (vols. 8 & 9). She is also the coauthor, with David King Dunaway, of the oral history Singing Out (Oxford University Press, 2010).
Molly has previously held Colgate University’s Olive B. O’Connor Fellowship in Creative Writing and taught environmental writing at Scripps College. She currently lives and writes in Toronto.
